Artist Profile

Hello my name is Erin Dodd but you can call me ezzie. The meaning behind my interesting brand of ezzieberrie is simply nostalgia. As each of my artworks stems from my personal experiences and memories I see as joyful. I combine the nick name given to me long ago with a fruit which tastes sweet but also has deeper meaning to me, "strawberry".

As you can see I have a habit of incorporating cats in a lot or majority of my works. I can't summarize my reason into one answer, but I do have a lot of strong memories in my past of how their love has impacted my personality.

A way I can explain this is, no matter what kind of day I've had, seeing a cat has either erased my cloudy thoughts or made my day a thousand times better.

I am still exploring my art style and medium. But at this time Pop art has been my biggest inspiration of colour, composition and line work. I feel sometimes I can't contain my joy and I just want to transfer unlimited colours to a canvas with acrylic paint!
